How to Style a High Waisted African Print Maxi Skirt with Side Pockets. The Perfect addition to your wardrobe. Wearing this skirt, one will surely feel like Royal-Fashion-Queen. The weight of the fabric is great quality and light to wear. Although at first the fabric is a bit stiff, but throughout the day while wearing the skirt it did loosens up and that made the skirt more flowy.
This skirt, I have to be honest… I intended to get the skirt for our online fashion store and for resale. I bought two different prints without thinking of owning one for myself. I tried it on, paired it with an outfit to see how someone would style it and Absolutely fell in Love with it and then decided to keep it. I couldn’t part. That is so bad, I know…. I know that makes no business sense but for a fashion lover, this was something that HAD to have as an addition to my wardrobe. This was something that you do not see everyday. Some outfits, when trying on, they give you a certain “Feel” and with this one, I felt my Roots, African- Royalty. It felt so majestic and free. I love that in an outfit.
The material and the color of the fabric was absolutely stunning. It has a tie in the back to adjust the fit of waist. It would also stretch to fit many different body frames as well as waist sizes. Although, I will say that because of the length , it is for taller people. I’m 5’11” and I noticed that I had to keep pulling it up very high on my waist in order for it to be at the proper level off of the ground to keep it from dragging. If needed, someone could definitely trim the bottom to fit their appropriate height.
This is an outfit that is versatile and can easily go from a Daytime to Nighttime look. My Tank top is an off white laced top. I also added a cropped Jean Jacket and a Vintage Tiered Gold Pearl Choker Necklace for an added pop of color. 
Overall I love the look and feel and of this High Waisted African Print Maxi Skirt.
